About the event
These camps are not only taught by West End/Industry professionals, but are designed to champion and develop young performers. Each and every camper will get their very own pumpkin to decorate!
Our facilitators are dedicated to help campers to:
- Build confidence, especially in a group situation
- Work as part of a team to achieve an end goal
- Arts & crafts activities
- Find their voice (speaking/monologues in front of a group or audience)
- Express themselves through the disciplines of theatre (dance, movement, drama & singing)
- Character development within the text of a play or musical
- Participate in group games which include co-ordination and motor skills exercises
As our age range is from 5-12, we will often separate into age appropriate groups. This will help us get the best result in all activities from each and every camper and make them feel comfortable.
We will be focusing on Matilda, Hairspray, Annie, Oliver & The Lion King.
