About the event

Picture an orphanage in Manhattan run by the mean and drunken Miss Hannigan. Annie the orphan, believes that her parents left her there by mistake. When a rich man named Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks decides to let an orphan live at his home to promote his image, Annie is selected. While Annie gets accustomed to living in Warbucks' mansion, she still longs to meet her parents. So Warbucks announces a search for them and a reward, which brings out many frauds.

***We need boy and girl orphans as the week will be adapted for both***

These performance camps are not only taught by West End/Industry professionals, but are designed to champion and develop young performers.

Our facilitators are dedicated to help campers to:

  • Build confidence, especially in a group situation
  • Work as part of a team to achieve an end goal
  • Audition to play a part, sing, act, dance, or be a part of the ensemble
  • Build props and scenery through arts & crafts activities
  • Find their voice (speaking/monologues in front of a group or audience)
  • Express themselves through the disciplines of theatre (dance, movement, drama & singing)
  • Character development within the text of a play or musical
  • Participate in group games which include co-ordination and motor skills exercises

As our age range is from 6-11, we will often separate into age appropriate groups. This will help us get the best result in all activities from each and every camper and make them feel comfortable.
